Ms Shannon Shang
Ms Shannon Shang graduated from Northeast Normal University with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Philology, and from Jilin University with a minor degree in Law in 2003. In 2006, Ms Shang graduated from Fudan University with a master’s degree in Chinese Philology, and in 2008 received a certificate in the participation of Professional Education programme offered by Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Ms Shang has more than 10 years of international education working experience, including teaching Mandarin in the International Cultural Exchange Institute of Fudan University, and working as a Senior Teacher and Deputy Chief Editor in the curriculum development in New World Education Group.
Since 2008, Ms Shang has been teaching CAL Chinese, IGCSE, IB curriculum, etc. in Yew Chung International School of Shanghai, and has been awarded High Potential Teacher in a row for many years and has served as the Chinese Group Leader. In 2015, Ms Shang became the Chinese Co-Principal, and is now also Registered Principal and Member of the Board of YWIES Guangzhou.
